Immunization Grants

What is Immunization Grants Program?

The Vaccines for Children (VFC) program procures vaccines for children in specific eligibility classes(see below) who are unable to afford to purchase vaccines. Doctors can make these vaccines available for their patients who become eligible by enrolling into the VFC program in their state.

The Section 317 Immunization program helps state and local health departments in buying vaccines. This program caters to children and adults who primarily go to health departments for immunization services but are ineligible for the VFC program.
