If you work as a law enforcement officer, firefighter, emergency medical technician, or teacher, this program can assist you buy a home in a U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) revitalization area by providing eligible purchasers a 50 percent discount on the list price of houses available from HUD's stock.
