Nursing Education Loan Repayment Program

What is Nursing Education Loan Repayment Program?

In order to help in the staffing and retention of professional nurses devoted to offering health care to undeserved people, the Nursing Education Loan Repayment Program gives registered nurses extensive support to repay educational loans in return for service in eligible facilities situated in areas facing a scarcity of nurses.

If you completed two years of service, the Nursing Education Loan Repayment Program will reimburse 60 percent of the participant's total qualifying loan balance; after completing three years of service, the Nursing Education Loan Repayment Program will reimburse 85 percent of the participant's total qualifying loan balance.

A participant who accepts to serve two years may qualify to revise the Nursing Education Loan Repayment Program contract and serve a third year at a qualifying health facility, for which the Nursing Education Loan Repayment Program will reimburse an extra 25 percent of the qualifying loan balance.
